4. Can volunteers work just a few hours or in shifts?
KaBOOM! encourages volunteers to commit themselves for the full Build Day, which consists of approximately six hours. If it proves impossible for a volunteer to be present throughout the entire day, they should notify their build captain in advance and identify themselves as a part-time volunteer when they check-in on Build Day. This ensures they will be properly placed where they can contribute, without adversely affecting the team when they need to leave.
